Halloween Costumes for Kids

Some years my kids choose costumes that we can buy from the store. I love buying them from Target on their 30-40% off days in the beginning of the season. Other years, I’ve tried my hand at making a costume or accessories for the costume. Here are a couple of my favorite creations.

DIY Light-Up Wizard’s Staff – Aiden requested to be Jack from The Familiars book series (Amazon affiliate link). We used a Robin Hood costume and added created a staff with a few easy to obtain supplies to complete his wizard look.

DIY R2-D2 Baby Costume – I used a freezer paper stencil and fabric paint to create this look for baby Elon.
