Christmas Treasure Hunt with Picture Clues

Our Picture Clue Scavenger Hunt is always a big hit. Kids can trace cookie cutters to create their own clues. I created today’s Christmas Treasure Hunt to make it even easier for you.

Just print out the the picture clues and laminate them (or use contact paper) to make them more durable. Download the Christmas Treasure Hunt Picture Clues here.

I’ve made 24 clues for you. Select the ones that work for your house. Make the hunt as long or as short as you like. I suggest starting with just 5 clues for younger kids. With older kids, see if you can use them all.

Plan out your hunt with one clue leading to the next. The picture clues allow even the youngest treasure hunters to play.

After the candle, find the snowman next.

Some clues will be easy to find. How many refrigerators do you have in your house? Other clues may be more difficult. Where is the polar bear? (And if your house is like mine – which polar bear?)

Let the last clue lead to some sort of treasure or just let the hunt be the treasure.

Once your kids get the hang of the treasure hunts, they can create them for each other. Place the pictures in a different order or use different picture clues. My kids love to play this again and again.
