Featured from Inspiration Laboratories:

This week we explored making grass castles and bark houses – great for pretend play outside. Gail Gibbons is the featured author for the Virtual Book Club for Kids this month. We were inspired by The Seasons of Arnold’s Apple Tree and looked at the seasons of Aiden’s apple tree through pictures of the tree in our front yard. It’s almost Eric Carle’s birthday. Last year, we celebrated with a linky party that includes almost 100 ideas and activities for Eric Carle books. We created art inspired by Eric Carle’s Papa, Please Get the Moon for Me for the celebration. Measuring is an important science skill. Check out 20 different ways to practice measuring with your kids.
