This week we started our Summer Science series with a biology theme. Try some backyard earthworm experiments inspired by the book, Yucky Worms by Vivian French and this easy earthworm experiment {that you can do inside}. Learn how to attract fireflies so you can catch them or observe them close up. I also launched a new blog called Read Science – it’s all about children’s books inspiring science activities. Growing Vegetable Soup by Lois Ehlert inspired our own cooking lesson.
