Happy New Year! Earlier this week, I shared the top preschool science activities and the top 10 preschool learning activities from Inspiration Laboratories in 2013. Frozen Vinegar Hearts

Frozen Vinegar Hearts was by far the most popular post on Inspiration Laboratories in 2013. This was one activity that Aiden requested again and again. Experimenting with baking soda and vinegar is always a kid favorite, and the frozen vinegar activity is no exception. We set up an investigation to find out: What happens if we freeze vinegar or baking soda or both? The result was a super fun activity perfect for Valentine’s Day or any day. Change the shape of your ice to fit whatever theme you like. We repeated the investigation with frozen vinegar stars for a cool summer science activity.
