Virtual Book Club for Kids - February Author

I have been hooked on the Virtual Book Club for Kids since we started last summer with Mo Willems. Our featured author for the month of February is a very well-known and beloved children’s author: Dr. Seuss. March 1 is Read Across America Day, which is always near or on Dr. Seuss’s birthday (March 2nd). On February 18th, we will be sharing ideas and activities for Dr. Seuss books just in time for the celebration.

Want to join us?

Choose a book by Dr. Seuss, the featured author for the month. {Have your kids help you pick a new one or choose your favorite to read.}
Be inspired by the book and complete a related activity {project, craft, recipe, etc.}.
On the third Monday of the month {February 18th} come here to share your book and activities at our Blog Hop.

Do you already have a favorite Dr. Seuss book? I would love for you to share it in the comments. We haven’t read all of Dr. Seuss’s books. I plan on checking out more from the library. Which one is your must-read? Aiden has already chosen his favorite Dr. Seuss book. We’ll be sharing an activity for that one as well as a few others throughout the month.
