Top Preschool Science Activities of 2013
One of my goals for 2013 was to incorporate more intentional science learning into our days. The A to Z Science series, the Science at Home video series, and the Challenge and Discover science challenges helped us accomplish this. Here are the most top preschool science activities that I shared on Inspiration Laboratories in 2013.
A to Z Science Series for Toddlers and Preschoolers
The landing page for the A to Z Science series was quite popular. From there you can view all of the letters in the science series. So far we’ve completed letters A-N. Letter O will be debuting soon. After the the initial letter post, I often share a collection of ideas around the letter theme. Here are 2 of the most popular collections from the series.
Preschool Science Experiments – a collection of examples after our E is for Experiment post.
Kinetic Energy Experiments and Activities – a collection of ideas after our K is for Kinetic Energy post.
Holiday Science
Our Valentine themed science activities were great fun last year. One of them was even the most popular post of all year. I’ll be featuring that post on January 2nd for the Best of 2013 Blog Hop. Here are other popular holiday science activities.

Science at Home
In our Science at Home video series, I joined with other bloggers in Google+ hangouts to share easy science ideas for you to do with your kids.

My Favorite
Make a Hurricane – My favorite science activity last year was making a hurricane. This was the first time Aiden shared a how-to video with us. He shows you the easy steps of making a hurricane in a bowl. Pair the activity with a book about hurricanes.
