Popular Preschool Science Activities of the Past

Frozen Vinegar Hearts – For the second year in a row, this was the most popular post. I’m not sure if it has anything to do with the movie Frozen being such a big deal this year or what. The frozen vinegar hearts are a Valentine science activity, but they have been popular all year long. Have you tried them yet?

Candy Cane Science Experiment – Here’s another holiday science idea. I wrote about it in 2013 for our Christmas Science Advent calendar. It’s a great way to use up candy canes if you have any left.

Baking Soda Science – Baking soda and vinegar ideas are always popular. Here are 20+ ideas for experimenting with baking soda. I’m sure we’ll be sharing more of these ideas in 2015.

Layering Liquids Density Experiment – I love how colorful this experiment is. Explore the concept of density using fruit juices.

Make a Hurricane – In his first how-to video, Aiden shows you how to make a model of a hurricane in a bowl. This is still my all time favorite post.
