Virtual Science Summer Camp
Inspiration Laboratories presents a LIVE science camp!
Join me for a week-long summer camp from the comfort of your home.
Come learn about animals and plants during Nature Camp or practice your STEM skills in our 2 Ingredient Science Camp.
This camp is perfect for ages 5-11. Young campers may need parental assistance with some activities.
Each day, you’ll join a live class via Zoom.
The hour-long classes will be filled with hands-on activities and demonstrations.
You’ll also get one or two bonus activities to do after each class.
Virtual Camp Themes
Choose from Nature Camp or 2 Ingredient Science Camp. More themes may be added throughout the summer.
Nature Camp Dates
June 22nd – 26th (afternoon session only – 4pm Central time)
July 13th – 17th (Choose from the morning session – 10am Central time or the afternoon session – 4pm Central time.)
*more dates may be added if there is interest
Cost is $50 per weekly session.
How It Works
Register for a camp week and time.
You’ll need a computer with internet access and a free Zoom account to join the live sessions each day of camp. You’ll also need a webcam if you want me to be able to see you.
You’ll receive an e-mail with instructions on how to join.
Materials are not provided. You’ll receive a materials list with basic household supplies.
Nature Camp Themes
Our themes during nature camp are: animal habitats, birds, flowers, insects, and conservation. Live animals like frogs, birds, Madagascar hissing cockroaches, and ladybugs will be a part of the virtual camp experience.
What to Expect during Nature Camp
Each day, you’ll join me in a live Zoom session with other campers. We’ll play a warm-up game to get started. Next, I’ll read a picture book related to the day’s theme.
Then, I’ll introduce the theme with a demonstration lesson. Some of the demos will include live animals like frogs, birds, and insects.
Finally, campers will engage in 2 different interactive or hands-on activities. These activities involve STEM skills, art, and learning about the day’s nature theme.
You’ll also receive instructions for a bonus activity based on the day’s theme. This is an activity that campers can do at home with their parents.
2 Ingredient Science Camp Dates
June 22 – 26th (morning session only – 10am Central time)
July 6th – 10th (morning session only – 10am Central time)
July 20th – 24th (Choose from the morning session – 10am Central time or the afternoon session – 4pm Central time.)

Each day, you’ll join me in a Zoom session with other campers. We’ll play a warm-up game to get started.
I’ll share a demonstration activity and we’ll talk about the science behind it.
Next, campers will engage in hands-on science using just two ingredients for each activity.
Some days will be messy, so you’ll want to plan your work area accordingly. (Make sure the computer is out of the way.)
You’ll also receive instructions for a bonus activity based on the day’s theme. This is an activity that campers can do at home with their parents.
