Why You’ll Love Skip Hop’s Explore & More Baby’s View 3-Stage Activity Center
Are you looking for a baby activity center that will grow with your child? Skip Hop has just introduced their Explore & More Baby’s View 3-Stage Activity Center. As soon as I saw it, I knew I had to have it. Skip Hop sent me one in exchange for an honest review. Read all about it below. I know you’re going to love it as much as I do.
Why You’ll Love Skip Hop’s Explore & More Baby’s View 3-Stage Activity Center
The Explore & More Baby’s View 3-Stage Activity Center has several features that I love and so will you.
#1 It was designed with a pediatrician to support a “whole body” approach to play and learning. The seat rotates completely around to allow access to all of the toys. The seat also stretches for bouncing. My son loves bouncing up and down.
#2 The activity center has 3 stages. The first stage is for the babies that are just beginning to sit up (age 4 months+). The toys attach to the table. There is a cool little window that baby can look through to see the piano below. My son loves watching the piano light up as he steps on it or near it (there’s a motion activated setting, too). The piano also fits on top of the window, so baby can use his hands to play, too.
The second stage supports cruising. Take out the seat and replace it with the foot platform. The activity center now becomes a table that is perfect for baby to cruise around.
The third stage is a play table. Once your baby has outgrown the toys attached to the table, you can take them off. Now you have a toddler table.
#3 The baby activity center is easy to assemble. The pieces snap together quickly.
#4 The toys are fun. They promote discovery and observation. The cloud and trees bend.
The owl plays peek-a-boo, and the hedgehog beads move.
There is a suction bee snack bowl. (It’s dishwasher safe.) We like to add toys to it for Elon to explore. This a wonderful way to work on language skills with baby. Talk to him about what you see – the name of the object, its shape or color, etc.
#5 The baby activity center is easy to move around and store. It is lightweight so I can move it from one room to the next. I like to place it in the kitchen while I’m cooking. This lets Elon see me and he can play without dropping all of his toys like he does with the high chair. If you want to store it, it comes apart and stores flat. Our previous activity center took up sooo much space. We rarely used it, Lily outgrew it quickly, and I had a hard time finding a place to store it. I got rid of it in our recent move.
#6 It gives us peace of mind. The Explore & More Baby’s View 3-Stage Activity Center allows me to take care of my toddler’s needs while baby Elon can play in a safe place. Lily and I can run to the bathroom (we’re working on potty training) while Elon is occupied. (I can still see him.)
