Science for Kids Community on Google+
Google+ recently launched communities as a new feature. I started a Science for Kids community that I would love you to check out.
What are Google+ Communities?
Communities are similar to Facebook groups or website forums. They are a place to hangout, chat, share ideas, and learn from others. I like Google+ before communities, but now I like it even better. There seems to be a lot more connections happening over there. It’s been said that Google+ is for exploring your passions and connecting with like-minded people.
What is the Science for Kids Community?
I created the Science for Kids Community for people to share hands-on science activities. You can share blog posts, articles, websites, and ideas. You can ask questions and get inspiration from others. If you follow me on Pinterest, you know I love pinning great science ideas. I also tend to share a lot of science ideas {among other things} on Facebook and Google+. I wanted a place for just science sharing, and the Science for Kids community is the perfect place. Your Questions or Ideas
I would love to know if there is anything specific that you would like me to cover in regard to science for kids. I can write a blog post about it, I can post the answers to the Google+ community, or I can do a combination.
I am working my way through the A to Z Science series which focuses on hands-on science ideas for toddlers and preschoolers.
I plan on creating more science videos and adding them to my YouTube channel.
I also would like to do a Hangout On Air on Google+. I’m still brainstorming ideas for what to share with you live. Suggestions are welcome.
2013 looks to be a wonderful year. If you would like to catch up with Inspiration Laboratories from 2012, check out some of my favorite posts.
