If you love LEGO, you will love creating your own minifigure family Christmas Card!
How to Make Your Own LEGO Minifigure Family Christmas Card
Go to the LEGO Minifigure Family website to create your card.
Add up to 13 family members. Here’s the fun part: you get to customize the look of each member of your family. Have fun exploring your options and creating awesome minifigures that represent you. You can also add dogs, cats, and a baby carriage to your family picture.
You can even give your minifigures costumes. Dress like Santa, a bee, a gingerbread, and lots more.
Next, you’ll choose your scene. Where is your minifigure family taking their photo? You can move your minifigure family around and choose your background. Choose from the North Pole, a stage with a snowman, a house, autumn trees, the beach, office cubicles, space, a ranch, several fireplaces, and a cabin.
Edit the message on your card. The top left of your card says Happy Holidays. You can click on it and select a message you would like.
Share it! Share your card with others. You can choose whether or not to show family names and the holiday greeting. Then, you can download your card, e-mail it, copy a link to share, or directly share it on Facebook, Twitter, or Pinterest. Keep it electronic or print it out.
Here’s our finished Christmas card.
Patrick and Aiden helped me design the card. We added the LEGO dog to represent our German Shepard, which is quite humorous since the dog looks nothing like a shepard. We couldn’t leave her out though. We also added a baby carriage for our new arrival coming this spring. We hope to find out on Monday if we are having a boy or a girl. I think I will go back and edit the card and change the carriage to a pink or a blue. Then, I’ll send the card to everyone. A fun way to do a gender reveal, no?
**UPDATE 12/16: We’re having a girl! Here’s the new card:**
Aiden and Patrick wanted the background with a Christmas tree. I also really liked the planet scene and thought it would be fun to dress us up in space suits. Aiden wanted to look like a ninja. A yeti photobombed our picture! That’s such a fun touch. {You can turn the yeti off if you don’t want him in your card.}
Now it’s your turn. Head over to the LEGO Minifigure Family website and design your own LEGO minfigure family card. Have you already sent Christmas cards? You could create a card that says Happy New Year! Have fun!
