Kitchen Toys
Aiden found a paper bag in the kitchen today. He had fun carrying it around the house. This got me to thinking about the toys we buy. Aiden has so many toys that he does not even play with. Yet he sees a paper sack and thinks ooh, that will be fun. I put some uncooked rice in a plastic container and gave it to him. His eyes lit up with excitement, and he smiled so big. He shook the container and happily danced bouncing up and down with the beat. Currently, Aiden is happy to play with anything that crinkles or makes an interesting sound. Who needs expensive toys when I have a kitchen full of potential playthings?
