Is Your Car Kidproof?

My husband and I have owned a few different Chevy or GM vehicles over the years. Currently we have a GM SUV. It’s the vehicle we use most since it fits the 4 of us so nicely. It takes us where we need to go – errands around town, a trip to see family, or a drive to our favorite hiking spot.

During a good hike, we usually end up with mud all over our boots. Aiden is notorious for kicking the back of the seat in front of him. (Do your kids do this?)

Just look at those muddy pants and boots. It shows all of the great fun we had.

Muddy footprints all over the seat back? Not to worry. The plastic backing to the seats in Chevy or GM vehicles was designed with kids kicking and spilling in mind. Vehicle fabrics are durable and resistant to stains, too. Easy to clean means more time spent with family. I’m happy my car is kidproof.

What Does Kidproof Mean?

Aiden answers questions about kidproofing.

I asked Aiden what kidproof means and a few other car-related questions. In the first video, he’s not sure what kidproof means, but he does know who the better driver in our house is.

In the second video, Aiden explains what kidproof means and gives us a few examples. He also tells the story of the time he created a big mess in our car.

In the video, Aiden talks about the cupholder next to him being kidproof. A cupholder within a child’s reach that holds a drink securely is just one feature that helps make Chevy or GM vehicles kidproof.

More Definitions of Kidproof

Kidproof: made of strong material that children cannot pass through. (I came up with this one after reading the definition of bulletproof.)

kidproof defined

Kidproof: cannot be damaged or adversely affected by kids. (I think this one fits best with today’s theme.)
