Capturing Moments this Holiday Season
This time of year can be so busy. Between Christmas choir practice, gift shopping, birthday planning, and family get togethers, there are just so many things going on. Sprout knows that we moms want to capture all of these MOMents. I always have a camera with me so I don’t miss capturing a moment with my son. Here are some of my favorite MOMents from this year and the past.
The picture above is my favorite Christmas memory of my son. He was one year old. He has a December birthday, so it was technically his second Christmas, but it’s the first one he was really aware of. He was mesmerized by the Christmas angel. It is so precious. I’m thankful we took time to capture this moment forever.
The rest of the pictures are from this year. They are MOMents I’ve captured of Aiden. Each has a special memory attached.
This picture was taken after Aiden made a big mess of himself. He has a terrarium with dirt, plants, and toys. He loves to play in it. On this particular day, I was wrapping presents and getting ready for our first family get together. This year we celebrated Thanksgiving and Christmas on the same day before my in-laws left for Florida. Aiden was quietly playing while I was busy. I go check on him {sometimes quiet isn’t a good thing} and see he’s covered in dirt. He even got it all over his face!
For us, the holiday season {Thanksgiving through the New Year} includes Aiden’s birthday. Scheduling one party for the family proved difficult this year, so we’re celebrating his birthday with two parties. The picture above shows Aiden the evening after his first party. He curled up on the chair with his blanket and asked for his stuffed animals. You can tell how tired he is after a fun day.
We had our first snow this past weekend. It wasn’t very much, but it was enough to go out and play in. I just love Aiden’s face in this picture.
After playing in the snow, everyone needs homemade hot cocoa with mini marshmallows in a Christmas mug!
Sprout is encouraging everyone to build lasting memories and celebrate those Holiday MOMents. Did you notice all of the pictures above with Sprout Holiday MOMents stamped on them? You can create your own MOMents on Sprout’s website and share it with others. What MOMent will you choose to share?
