Barnyard Dance

Last night Aiden pointed to a book on the top shelf, Barnyard Dance by Sandra Boynton.  We’ve had this book for a few months.  The star of the book is a cow who is calling a square dance for the other barnyard animals.  “Stomp your feet!  Clap your hands!  Everybody ready for a barnyard dance!”  It’s rhythmic beat forces you to sing through the story.  We clap our hands and do the motions along with the animals in the book.  Aiden enjoys this very much.  He smiles and laughs.  I think it is tremendous fun and sure to please any young child.
