Would You Rather Be a Bullfrog? by Dr. Seuss
In Would You Rather Be a Bullfrog?, Dr. Seuss poses a series of crazy questions to the reader. He starts off simply by asking if you’d rather be a cat or a dog. Then, he moves on to more odd pairs like soda and stinky cheese. What kind of choice is that? This book is sure to get your imagination moving as you think about what it would be like to be a drum or a butterfly. The book is full of crazy combinations that will make everyone laugh. It’s the inspiration behind our game cards.
Dr. Seuss Inspired Would You Rather Game
Our Dr. Seuss inspired Would You Rather Game is based on many of the questions Dr. Seuss poses in the Would You Rather Be a Bullfrog? book. I only included two choices on each card – where sometimes Dr. Seuss gives three. I also only chose real objects and characters where Dr. Seuss includes a few fantastical ones.
How to play: Draw a card and read it aloud. Make a decision. Which would you rather be? Talk about why. Everyone else can tell what they would choose, or each person can choose a different card. Keep playing until you go through all of the cards. Can you make up your own odd pairings?
