Candy Building Challenge Cards
The candy building challenge cards are designed to be used with square candies. We used Starburst minis. You can buy a bag of the minis and you don’t have to unwrap each candy. Regular Starburst with the wrappers still on will work, too.
The cards include tasks like building a tower with 5 candies.
Can you build a staircase? Aiden (almost 7) came up with this challenge. He made his staircase out of pink Starburst. What colors will you use?
Some of the cards ask you to make a pattern. Follow the pattern on the card or create your own.
Practice measuring skills with a ruler. How long are 10 candies? What about 5?
Can you build shapes from the candy squares?
I designed the cards to be printed in black and white or color. Only the pattern cards have color. If you print the cards in black and white, you can easily color in the patterns.
Download the Candy Building Challenge Cards for your own personal or classroom non-commercial use only.
