The Showcase Features:
(taken from last week’s posts)

Reading Confetti teaches us how to make a barnyard tornado in a jar inspired by a Barn Storm and Farmer Brown Goes Round and Round.

Make worm towers and read about worms like Carrots Are Orange did at Garden Camp.

Sharing is the focus on The Good Long Road’s post for the Summer Virtual Book Club.  They chose Mo Willems’ book, the Duckling Gets a Cookie!?  Pigeon is not very happy about this, but Duckling nicely shares his cookie with him.

To go along with the Five Little Ducklings eBook, learn how to make duckling puppets and a play dough pond with Rainy Day Mum.

Feature from Inspiration Laboratories:

The Readathon is heading into Week 3.  This past week’s theme was FRIENDSHIP.  I shared a recipe for no bake dog treats,  a list of favorite friendship picture books, and a What Is a Friend? printable.

Thanks for sharing your ideas!

  4. I only just now saw this and realize that this is why your site is showing up as a way people are finding my blog. Thanks so much for featuring my Mo Willems post! I have to say that reading books on sharing has really worked. Our toddler is doing such a good job sharing with his baby brother now. You would never know that just a couple of months ago, he never wanted to share with the baby.

    • You are welcome! Happy to hear you’re getting traffic from me. :) Sharing is definitely a toddler skill that takes practice. My son is still working on it.
