Dot Art with M&M’s® Crispy

Do you remember M&M’s® Crispy? They are back and as tasty as ever! I picked up a few bags at my local Walmart. You can find them in the candy aisle next to the rest of the M&M’s®. You should also be able to find the individual size next in the checkout aisles. The individual snack sizes have 180 calories.

Look for the bright green M&M’s® Crispy bag.

Now for the fun. Make art with the M&M’s® Crispy. I created a few dot art pages for you to use. Download the M&M’s® dot art pages for your personal or classroom use here. Make flowers, a car, an airplane, or a rainbow.

You can have your child sort the M&M’s® by color if you wish. Or you can just set out a big bowl of M&M’s®. You’ll need at least two 9.9 oz. bags if your child wants to use only one color for the flower.

If you don’t sort by color up front, set out a few smaller bowls for your child to easily move the M&M’s® around and find the colors she wants. Choose a dot page to work on first. Aiden chose the car.

It’s a good one to do first because it’s relatively short. We made our car red with brown wheels.

Next up was the flower. Lots of fine motor skills at work here.

In the download, you’ll find two flowers – one with a stem and one without.

Aiden worked on the rainbow next. Technically, there are no purple M&M’s® Crispy, so we used the brown ones.

How about a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow?

After finishing the rainbow, Aiden chose to cover the airplane with rainbow colors. Then, he started to create some dot art of his own.
