I’ll be sharing what I am thankful for each day on Twitter, Facebook, and Google+. I have a special post planned on November 12th. We’ll be using the hashtag #21DaysGratitude.

Will you join me?

Day 1 of the 21 Days of Contagious Gratitude

I am thankful for a loving God.

I cannot list anything else for which I am thankful without mentioning the One who makes everything else possible.

I am currently in a Bible study about the book of James. And let me tell you, it is one humbling book, and we are barely into the second chapter. I am constantly reminded of all that I have and to focus on loving others. {Love was my word of the year for a reason.}

Speaking of Gratitude

One day this month I will be posting about being thankful for my parents. I do want to put a prayer request out there for my dad. If you read my blog in May, you know the story of how cancer has affected me – most recently with my dad. My dad is a two-time lung cancer survivor. He now has a different form of cancer and will be having surgery tomorrow. One of the reasons we moved back to Missouri from Florida was to be closer to our family – specifically my dad and my husband’s dad. We are grateful for the time we have with them, and pray it is a lot.

On a lighter note, we received a box of random craft supplies from CraftProjectIdeas.com. Included in the box were these little figurines ready to be painted. Aiden loves any excuse to paint. He picked out two figurines – one for my dad and one for my mom. He solely painted the one for my dad. He wanted me to paint the one for my mom. Then, he helped finish it {by smearing his painted hands all over it}. I love that kid. He will be excited to give these to his grandparents tomorrow.

For what are you thankful on this blessed day?
